Some things that you might not have known about me :)
Bees
In grade two I started with my obsession with bees. In grade two we had to do a project on any animal we wanted to, I knew that everyone was going to do dolphins, dogs, and cats, (I was right) so I chose bees. While doing research I realized how bees are endangered (because of pesticides etc. ). But, they are so important for the environment, without bees there is not enough pollination, without as much pollination there aren't as much plants and eventually the plants will die out. (that would be really bad!!) That's when I realized that bees are important and they aren't as "scary" as people say. Bees don't sting you if you don't bother them! Also, when bees sting you, they die. So, that's when I decided that I wanted to learn how to help bees by learning about bees.
Baking and Cooking
I started helping out in the kitchen at a very young age. My earliest memory of cooking was when I was around 6 or 7 I was making mini potatoes seasoned with olive oil and herbs. I love cooking because it's all about experimenting with different spices and flavours. Cooking is more free then baking because while baking if you don't follow the recipe exactly or you could ruin your baked good/recipe (depending on what it is). But with cooking, you can add your own special touch without ruining it as easily. Baking is very specific. However, everything that goes into baking has to be done with patience and love.
Nature
Nature is something I've always been fascinated about because there are so many questions that can't be answered. Also, a lot of us take nature for granted. Nature is an amazing creation that no one on earth can make. Nature is a miracle that should appreciated. My favourite plant is a venus fly trap because, this plant can digest a fly by just keeping it in it's mouth to absorb it! I know right AMAZING!!! My mum got an aloe plant in May. Incase you didn't know, aloe plants contain a gel that heals, moisturizes and does much more. I have been taking care of my aloe for 5 months now. It's amazing to watch the growth of a plant. This is some of the many reasons why I love plants!
Ukulele
Ukulele is an instrument I started playing in school. My friend an I were watching America's Got Talent and we were keeping up with the episodes. One of the contestants was a girl named Grace Vanderwal, she played the ukulele and sang. Meanwhile, at school, we were learning how to play the ukulele, we had also just started to sign out ukuleles to bring them home and practice. My friend was a big fan of Grace's, so she asked me to learn Grace's song "I Don't Know My Name". I decided to learn it the following weekend, and I really enjoyed myself. After perfecting the song, I decided to move onto other songs. (Ed Sheeran A Team, Jason Mraz I'm Yours, etc.) I got better and better at ukulele, eventually, I decided to ask my parents for a ukulele. After months of convincing them, I got a ukulele in January! I just decided to keep up with it after that. Know I'm learning more complicated chords and complicated songs.
